Weekly Reflections

This week I felt a sense of accomplishment when I:

I Spent time alone finishing reading books, I felt happy after finishing 16 books in 3 weeks, I spent time reading books at home and at school during break, Some chapters are short that's why I finish them quickly.

Hello Everyone, So in these two weeks we've been doing Photomontage, Photomontage is an art or a Picture that been cropped together,

In the Bush at night

Frogs











Some frogs Come out at night and Some come out in the morning.

Kiwi

Kiwi's comes out at night or when the places are dark.

Weta

Weta is like a bee mix with a grasshopper

Glowworms

Glowworms glow in the dark.

Owl sometimes comes out at night and Sometimes Comes out in The morning

Opposum

Some Opposum comes out at night and Some comes out in the morning

Giant snail

Giant snail can be found in the morning or at night

Coraline

Workshop 5

1.) Look like a normal mother with normal eyes

-dress like the real mother,

-softer/rounded edges - hips, head, knees and elbows

-Clothes are basic design, no patterns,

covers most of her body.

2.) Head and nose - pointer/sharp

-sleeves get shorter.

-addition of red to colour pallete

-starting to get Beatle shape from the apron

-the long baggy pants idea of softness

3.) all weight has moved to hips/bam - accents

Beatle shape of the dress. 

-red, black, white, more patterns, better/tighter

fit, more skin showing 

getting longer and pointer - stretch neck, pointer 

elbows, shorter hair, pointed head and nose.

4.) Scissor/thing like - very skinny

-huge height increase - compared to oven 

pointy head, elbow 

high heels 

full black outfit red shoes

little, no fat left in her body, lot of skin showing.

5.) - skinless, needle, like no face, paper-thin

has grown extra legs, fractured bones.

looks alien - human-like

- Clothes are more like tattered rags 

- very tall 

- has become hunched over,

Gradual changes over time,

- looks more time to notice

-Looks can be deceiving.

-changes as Coraline perception of her changes,

Start colour id warm, inviting, by the end is green unnatural and creepy.

Weekly Reflection.

Hello Everyone, So we've been doing Weekly Reflections, Weekly Reflection is about Writing your emotions of how you're feeling during the week.

This week I felt a sense of accomplishment I:
I felt accomplished after finishing 12 online books.

I felt Satisfied after reading 12 books in 2 weeks, There's a lot of Questions That I've answered but This will do for now.

Coraline

Coraline is a movie about a girl who went to the other world That's been created by an evil Human Spider who pretend to be Coraline's mother, The Other Mother has Buttons in her Eyes While her Real mother Doesn't. The Other mother Created a fake world for Coraline that has everything Coraline Wanted.

Coraline Realized That you can't have everything and The Other mother got Out of Controlled That she turned into her Real Formed, Corline made a friend along the way it was a cat who talks, The Other Mother Captured Coraline's Real parents and hid them. Coraline figured out sooner that the doll she has was a spy.

Coraline went back to the Fake world and Challenge her Other Mother for a game just to find her parent and the 3 ghost's eyes.

Lighting - Natural- Produced in nature, often sun, moon, stars, lighting

             - artificial- man-made light, usually electrical

             - warm- yellow, makes you feel warm

             -cold- White/blue tone, makes feel clean, clinical.

            -bright- fill's room, makes feel happy, safe 

            -dull- fills part of space only, often creepy/murky

Director purpose-

Set the mood that the real world is boring and empty makes the other world more appealing looks can be deceiving is not actually a bad place to be.

Other techniques- 

costume - real parents in simple plain colours and fabrics in dull colours.

lighting artificial - ceiling light bulb warm -yellowish tone-

yellow/orange/black palette warm makes feel safe comfortable, welcoming, colourful, joyful

looks can be deceiving looks nice but in reality, it unsafe make Coraline feel comfort
